Many of Vietnams motorways and national routes are cooperation projects between companies which build and operate the roads for a certain time and after that transfer them to the government. Currently there are 67 BOT roads in Vietnam. Many of them faced opposition by the people because they are claimed to be collecting fares incorrectly or the location of the tollbooth seems to be wrong.
